Walsall Youth Justice Service is a high performing service with an expectation of excellence in everything we do; we are keen that the successful candidates continue to achieve the best results for children and young people in Walsall and their victims. We are looking for motivated practitioners ideally with previous employment experience of working with children and young people in a criminal justice setting.

This is an exciting role to work directly with children and young people and partners to contribute directly to our priorities in reducing first time entrants to the youth justice system, preventing and reducing youth offending in Walsall and specifically within the looked after children population in Walsall through promoting restorative justice.

You will ideally have previous experience of working with children and young people in a criminal justice / early help / social care / community project setting and have a relevant level 4 qualification.

These posts are covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.
