This is an exciting opportunity to join the Youth Justice Service in Walsall.  The Youth Justice Service is a multi agency service with the principle aim for preventing and reducing youth offending in Walsall. 

Walsall Youth Justice Service is a high performing service with an expectation of excellence in everything we do; we are keen that the successful candidates continue to achieve the best results for children and young people in Walsall and their victims. We are looking for motivated practitioners ideally with previous employment experience of working with children and young people in a criminal justice setting.

Your role will be to manage young people who have been convicted of an offence and are subject to Court ordered intervention. You will need to understand both the criminal justice system along with child and adolescent development. You will be enthusiastic, dedicated and committed to achieving real change in people’s lives.

You will be a qualified social worker, probation officer, teacher or have a relevant, good quality honours degree.
