We are seeking to appoint a talented Associate Teacher to contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, and to support the work of qualified teachers to ensure that individual and small groups of students make progress and fulfil their potential.

The successful candidate will be committed to building brighter futures and will be educated to A Level standard or hold an equivalent relevant qualification. You will be able to deliver specialised support in maths and able to contribute effectively and with confidence to the classes in which you are involved.

You will be familiar with the school curriculum and the age related expectation of students, able to contribute to the selection and preparation of teaching resources which meet the diversity of students’ needs and interests and to supervise students in the absence of the class teacher.

You will be a highly organised and adaptable professional who is able to work calmly under pressure and to communicate effectively with students, identifying and meeting their needs to remove barriers to learning.

35 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (39 weeks)
