Bilston Church of England Primary School is a very popular Primary School, rated GOOD by Ofsted. We currently have 420 children on roll. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking individual who will contribute to and maintain our high standards of Administrative provision within the school.

As part of a busy Admin team, the successful applicant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the school. They will implement quality procedures and systems to ensure the efficient day to day running of the school so that the needs of the school are met.

Although the job is being advertised as 22 hours per week, there is a possibility that this may be increased slightly. This will be discussed at interview.

 

 

Essential Experience:

 

General administrative, clerical and financial work.

 

Experience of working in an office environment .

 

Experience of compiling, collating and maintaining records required by school or council and relevant regulations & legislation.

 

Experience of organising own workload.

 

Experience of working in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines.

 

Experience of working within a team and working on own initiative.

 

Experience of carrying out assigned specialised work to the relevant standards using materials, equipment & resources as appropriate.

 

Good written and oral communication skills

 

Ability to use range of IT software packages - good keyboard skills

 

Essential Skills:

 

Good communication skills.

 

Work on initiative.

 

Knowledge / certification of first aid.

 

Relate well to adults and children.

 

Understanding the need for confidentiality.

 

Flexible attitude towards day to day tasks.

 

Ability to plan and organise own work to meet deadlines and given priorities

 

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

 

Ability to work on own initiative with minimum of supervision.
