Job Details
Through effective partnerships Public Health focuses on preventing ill health and prolonging life through the promotion, protection and achievement of good health and wellbeing.
The Role
Joining the Health Improvement Team, within the Public Health and Strategic Commissioning Department, the post holder will lead on the development and management of policies, strategies, plans and the commissioning of high quality services which result in the best use of resources contributing to the reduction in the use of drugs and alcohol in Warwickshire.
37.0 Hours per Week
Key Requirements
Postgraduate degree or other qualification in management, public health or a related discipline.
Evidence of continual professional development.
Project Management Qualification or ability to demonstrate knowledge of project management methodology/excellent project management skills
Senior management experience
Experience of managing change within an NHS or Local Authority environment.
Experience in multi-agency working
Experience of managing budgets and using resources effectively
Experience of commissioning primary care services
Experience in pathway re-design
