Hours:  37 per week (Flexible/Agile Working)

Reporting to the OD Strategic Business Partner, the successful candidate will join our existing strong Business Partnering team on the progressive journey of transformation, providing a key business partnering service to one of the divisions of the Council.

As a core member of the relevant Divisional Management team you will be accountable for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the business, translating business goals into HR priorities and ensuring effective implementation of those, in partnership with other key areas of the wider HR/OD function.

You will ensure change management requirements are translated into operational actions that support the business strategy, establishing strong relationships with your respective senior management team.

You will both lead on and support exciting corporate projects delivering a range of OD initiatives from conception to implementation, such as talent management, workforce planning and service redesign.

The successful candidate will have experience of large scale change programmes and the ability to identify and engage with changing customer needs and services pressures, whilst influencing and creating tangible solutions using HR/OD initiatives.
