Teaching Assistant - Level 2

The Governors of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Level 2 teaching assistant who loves being part of a warm and witty staff team. This role will be fixed term for 2 terms (Spring and Summer 2019) in the first instance, working 5 mornings per week.

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is a lovely place to work. We enjoy excellent relationships with pupils, parents and the parish, where trust and good communication are the bedrock of our success. The staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to share a good joke or a cup of tea and a slice of cake (or two). We are a fabulous school, continuously looking to improve the learning experiences of our pupils.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who: 

• has a growth mindset and eagerly promotes this within class 
• demonstrates enthusiasm and creativity 
• has some experience of using technology in the classroom 
• will challenge, inspire and motivate others 
• has a keen sense of humour and a love of chocolate biscuits
