The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust is looking to appoint a resourceful and highly effective Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team of friendly staff. The post is fixed term to 12th April 2019.
St Laurence’s is a vibrant, warm and welcoming school, where pupils thrive in a positive and caring environment. The academy opened in April 2013 and was judged “Good” by Ofsted in March 2015, and “Good with Outstanding Features” in our SIAMS in March 2017. Values of love, respect, honesty, hope, courage and trust now shine through the life of the school. As a result pupils learn in a safe and secure Christian environment where their wellbeing is of paramount importance.
We are proud to be an ICON School (International Cross of Nails) in recognition of our work and our commitment to peace and reconciliation within our school and wider community.
The successful candidate will join our existing team to care for children ranging from Early Years to Year 6 during the lunchtime period.
You will be expected to:
• Assist pupils to eat their lunch, supporting them when required, clearing tables and disposing of waste food and drink.
• Supervise pupils in the hall, playground and school premises in a firm but caring manner, promoting positive values and ensuring behaviour is consistently good.
• Act as a carer for pupils who are feeling sick or unwell.
We can offer you:
• Delightful, well behaved pupils and a supportive team of staff and governors.
• Professional development opportunities
Experience of children in some capacity of responsibility – either your own children or previous school experience is an advantage.
Prospective candidates are strongly advised to visit the school by prior appointment.
