St Edward’s CE Academy Cheddleton is a member of SUAT Staffordshire University Academies Trust and is commitment to continuous professional development and joint professional development within our MAT, the Leek Education Partnership and other established school networks.

This is a dual contract vacancy and is a flexible role that may require 1:1 support, small group and / or class based support.

The Academy has a plethora of enthusiastic, happy and wonderful children to teach and care for.  A leadership team, LAC and staff that are committed to whole school improvement and a community approach to teaching and care including an active PTA and close links with community groups and religious partners.  We have educational links with schools outside the UK and a supportive working environment where everyone is valued.

The Academy requires someone who is committed and passionate about improving the outcome for children and the Academy.

The candidate should have high expectations of themselves, colleagues, pupils and parents.  Someone who will contribute to teaching and learning and will provide feedback to pupils and colleagues on pupil’s learning and behaviour.  You will contribute to the selection and preparation of teaching resources enabling inclusion for all.  You will support teachers in evaluating pupils’ progress through a range of monitoring and assessment activities and work within all aspects of our policies and procedures.

The position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
