Teaching Assistant Required From 7th January 2019

The Governing Body at Quarry Bank Primary School is seeking to appoint a high quality Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team to provide support for a pupil in Year 3 with an EHCP.

This post is 27.50 hours per week temporary with hours of working 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and 1.15 pm to 3.15 pm (these times may change depending on the needs of the child), Monday to Friday, term time only, 39 weeks per annum (ie to include all INSET days).

The ideal candidate needs to have patience and the ability to work on own initiative as well as being able to work constructively as part of a team.

Previous experience of supporting SEND pupils in mainstream school is essential as is knowledge of supporting pupils with autism, speech, language, communication and social interaction needs.
