The Police and Crime Commissioner has been successful in his bid to the Home Office Early Intervention Youth Fund, securing £1.83million to support projects in the West Midlands. Working with the Community Safety Partnerships this gives us a fantastic opportunity to coordinate and build on local activity, and deliver youth intervention projects across the West Midlands.

These two new posts will have a central role in co-ordinating this project. Successful candidates will be part of a small team supporting a range of projects, working with partners to ensure effective delivery.  The posts offer a great opportunity to ambitious and highly motivated individuals looking for the next step in their career, developing their experience of project management and working in a pivotal role with a range of partners from the statutory and voluntary sectors.  They would also be suitable as a secondment opportunity.

The West Midlands is a vibrant and diverse part of the country and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of diversity and human rights, and a personal commitment to promoting diversity and racial equality.
