Job Details

The Primrose Centre wishes to appoint an innovative, confident and experienced Administration Officer preferably with experience of working within a busy school setting with knowledge of SIMS systems.

The Primrose Centre is a 25 place Pupil Referral Unit which supports schools from across the Borough of Sandwell. Most of our pupils are permanently excluded from mainstream schools, with some of them accessing the Primrose Centre on a respite placement, in order to avoid permanent exclusion. There is a friendly, nurturing atmosphere within the Centre, with high expectations of our pupils in terms of academic progress and behaviour. We also aim to return our pupils to mainstream schools, or alternative provisions, within a structured supportive programme.

Our centre is committed to safeguarding the promotion of the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share our commitment. A full enhanced DBS and 2 full references are required for the post.
