Team Leader: Leaving Care

£41,846 - £44,697 per annum plus Golden Hello of £3,000 for experienced Children & Family Social workers.

Grade: PO14

37 hours per week

We are recruiting to the leaving care team leader role to drive forward our offer to young people between 18 and 25.

You will have an excellent knowledge of the Leaving Care legislation, guidance and best practice and a passion for supporting our care leavings into their future.

This is an opportunity to use your management skills to streamline an effective service and be creative in making improvements that will directly impact our care leavers.  As a team manager you must be able to lead and motivate your Care Leavers’ Team, ensuring communication across all parties in order to implement the statutory duties and responsibilities to high standards. You will be a pro-active analytical thinker, with experience of working within a multi-agency context as well as having a sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. You will also need to be a strong team worker, who brings ideas for service delivery and in partnership with young people.
