Working Hours: 22hrs 30 mins per week

Pay Scale: Grade 4.13    £10,090  pro rata rate

St John's CE (VC) Primay School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 child who needs 1-2-1 support in order to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

The position will be directly linked to the child's EHCP and as such will be a fixed term contract initially until the end of July 2019 when the post will be reviewed.  The hours of work will be 22 hours 30 minutes spread over the week.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

- the ability to motivate the child's learning

- experience of promoting positive behaviour

- excellent communication skills

- ability to work closely with the class teacher, parents and other staff
