We are at the start of an exciting large scale digitisation programme, which includes the development of a new website and digital service platform. We want to become the best we can be in delivering digital services to customers.

The Role

37 hours per week
£25,463 - £28,221 per annum

We are looking to recruit an individual who has the skills and ambition to help us move this forward and deliver our vision.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in public services and how we can deliver them digitally to our customers. You'll be helping us transform our organisation by delivering the best possible customer experience.

You'll be joining experienced colleagues in our E Services Team. You'll work closely with colleagues from across the county council often as part of a virtual team. Your work will focus on delivering new and improved online user experiences, you'll be supporting user research, rapid prototyping to ensure the continuous improvement of our digital services.

The role will lead on the design and implementation of content across the main site and wider online estate. However, there is a need to cover all elements in the description as required.

Key Requirements

The role is going to be challenging. You'll need outstanding writing and content design skills to deliver excellent user experiences, while meeting the business objectives of our services. We are looking for someone to bring experience of information architecture, rapid prototyping and evidence-based research to help us shape and deliver services.

You'll need to understand how to deliver exceptional customer experience through digital services and how to interpret user research and performance data to support continuous improvement. You'll be part of a team but will need to be able to work individually to tight deadlines.
