Wanted: Connected Person Social Worker (Part-time 29.6 hours per week)

You will complete assessments on friends and family who care or want to care for children known to them. The options include; special guardianship, child arrangement order, approval as connected person Foster Carers or non recommendation. Have close working relationships with the children's team and legal are essential. 

The Fostering Service is based over two sites; in Warwick and Bedworth. This post is based in Warwick. The Connected Person team has 7 social workers, 2 family support workers and an experienced Team Manager. It is a busy and supportive team. 

Key Requirements

We need an individual who has substantial work in a child social work setting, experience of court work and a knowledge of fostering. Assessment skills are required to produce concise and evidence based reports, along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. We embrace mobile working and need an individual who can be flexible and travel across the county and country.
