Our SEND 0-25 Service are looking for two experienced administrators to provide a comprehensive administration service to either our Children’s Social Care team or Statutory Assessment and Referral team. In this fast paced environment you will support Social Workers or Plan Co-ordinators to ensure that documents and assessments are completed and processed accurately and to tight deadlines, to help us achieve the best outcomes for the children and families we support. You will also assist with diary management and minute taking, as well as updating and maintaining various databases. Acting as a key contact for all enquiries from with a wide range of internal and external customers, you will build relationships with colleagues, parents, schools and third party suppliers as you provide advice and guidance to them.

You will need GCSE Maths and English 9-4 (or equivalent), or an NVQ level 2 in Business Administration, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent numeracy and literacy skills. You will also have:

  • Significant experience of office administration.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Outlook (or equivalent)
  • Great communication skills to deal sensitively with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership of tasks.

You will be required to work 37 hours Monday to Friday, also working on a rota basis to ensure there is cover across the team from 8.45am to 17.20pm Monday –Thursday.
