The Specialist Early Years Service is a team of teachers and teaching assistants working with children with special educational needs and disability from birth to full time schoolWe assess and teach children in their homes and early years settings, support and train families and staff in early years settings.

Hours: 16.25 per week Job share

Salary: Teachers pay range + SEN 2 

Location: The Mere Education Centre

Assessment, planning and teaching are important elements of the post, working to the requirements of the SEN Code of Practice and within the principles of Early Support. A commitment to partnership working with parents, therapists, early years practitioners and others is essential.

The post involves working for 2.5 days which is flexible but will include one Friday afternoon every four weeks in term time.
