We are looking for enthusiastic and caring people with a passion for supporting our vulnerable adults in the community and help them to lead an independent life. We want you to empower people who use our services to develop their potential and will be fully supported whilst doing so.

You will need to work flexibly, and be able to travel across the borough and will therefore need to hold a full valid driving licence.

As a Home Support Worker, you will be required to work with people in their own home, providing a range of care and support that maximises independence.

We get people out of hospital and work with people to prevent hospital admission and maintain their independence in the community.

You'll start with a full induction into the service and get to meet the teams you will be working with. You'll receive on the job training by our most experienced and skilled staff and be fully supported by your manager with regular supervisions. There are a variety of training and development opportunities available, which you will be encouraged to attend so you can continue to grow in your career here at Sandwell.
