Job Details
Required from January 2019, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our friendly team of lunchtime supervisors to assist in the care and supervision of our pupils during the lunch period.
This is a fixed term contract until August 2019.
Our Dining Room Assistants help to ensure that children are safe and happy during the lunchtime period and make the most of the opportunities for learning at this important point in the day. Applicants need to be reliable and adaptable, with a positive approach to their role.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
• Supervising children during the lunch period.
• Supporting and assisting children in lunchtime leisure and play activities.
• Following agreed procedures for dealing with and reporting incidents during the lunch period.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged, and can be arranged by calling the school office on 02476 411711. Application forms are available from the school office or can be downloaded below.
Working Pattern:
3 hours per week, term time only:
Thursday and Friday 11:50am – 1:20pm
Pay Scale: £8.50 per hour
Closing date: Noon, Friday 14th December
Interviews will take place week beginning Monday 17th December

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
