Working Pattern

The team provide a range of administrative and accounting duties, including the maintenance of rent, insurance and sundry accounts for 22,000 Council tenants.

The role also delivers a frontline service for home contents insurance

Hours:  37 hours per week

Duties include:

- Raising invoices, credit notes and issuing account documents for rechargeable repairs.

- Administer a comprehensive home contents insurance scheme, including the processing of telephone, paper and online applications, arrears, claims and delivering a frontline customer service.

- Processing payments for housing, including sundry invoices, mobile phones, utility bills and maintaining petty cash.

- Provision of performance and statistical information, liaising with third parties and resolution of administration issues.

We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, is accurate and organised and can work to challenging deadlines.

You will need to use IT systems with ease and have experience in a financial administration or insurance role.
