Concessionary Awards Modern Apprentice

£3.70 per hour

37 hours per week

 

Applications are invited for the above Apprenticeship:

  • This is a temporary 12 month placement within Telford & Wrekin Council for a Business Administration Apprentice.

  • There is a commitment to helping the right person to achieve NVQ level 2 Business Administration as a minimum during the placement.

  • This Apprenticeship for 16+ year olds will, through appropriate training and development, be part of our Benefits Team, responsible for the administration of the Free School Meals system, the award of Disabled Parking Badges, Concessionary Travel awards and providing administrative support to the team.

  • A training programme will give a broad understanding and knowledge about the services provided by the Revenues and Benefits Teams and will enable the apprentice to gain a range of administrative and customer-orientated skills in a busy office environment.

  • The duties of the post are varied and will alter as the apprentice develops in the work environment to reflect the gains in their experience and knowledge.
