Job Details
We are recruiting a Senior Catering Assistant to help grow and develop the Café Bar offer within the Brewhouse Arts Centre.
It is an exciting time for The Brewhouse as we continue to expand our offer to create a thriving Arts Centre in the heart of Burton upon Trent for the whole community. The Café Bar is an important part of our service and will be the key to us providing a quality service and a unique offer to those visiting Burton and The Brewhouse, whether to attend a meeting, to see a show, attend a workshop or to relax with friends over a cup of coffee.
The Senior Catering Assistant will play an important role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, good food and helping us to find new and innovative ways to improve our catering offer, for all our visitors.
The role includes day to day operation of the Catering Services, meal preparation, serving, cleaning, ordering of stock, stock control, and staffing.
The successful candidate should have:
- previous experience in a supervisory position;
- experience of working with budgets and cash handling;
- experience of planning/developing and implementing programmes and marketing schemes.
You should also possess Level 2 Food Hygiene, be a customer focused team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible working pattern. Evenings, weekends and Bank Holiday working required.
