The Role
37.0 Hours per Week
Fixed term contract for 2 years
Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is looking for a ‘bright spark’ to assist our Energy Team as Junior Energy Manager Apprentice.
WCC is one of the largest employers in Warwickshire, employing some 12,500 people.
As the successful candidate you will receive on the job training and complete a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship.
You will work alongside experienced employees in the Energy Team, Construction Services and Facilities Management who will support you in starting your future career.
Apprenticeship Pay Scale from 1 April 2018:
Point 1 = £155.40 per week, £4.20 per hour, £8,108.55 per annum – initial salary for all new starters for the first 12 months of the apprenticeship
Progression of pay after 12 months are complete as follows:
Point 2 = £218.30 per week, £5.90 per hour, £11,390.58 per annum - completed 12 months and aged 19 - 20
Point 3 = £273.06 per week, £7.38 per hour, £14,247.88 per annum - completed 12 months and aged 21 – 24
Point 4 = £289.71 per week, £7.83 per hour, £15,116.66 per annum – completed 12 months and aged 25+
Key Requirements
As Junior Energy Manager you will be ICT literate and focus on property related technical and operational energy management, consumption data analysis, communications and reporting.
Another important requirement is that you are able to travel to work location. Travel to work is not something that we can support you with, so please consider how you will get to work each day before applying.
