Band 2 (£17,007 - £19,446) pro rata
Hours per week: 20 hours per week on a temporary basis for two terms
Flexibility of working hours within the school day may be required during busy periods, such as examinations.

To be based at Bishop Walsh Catholic School, Wylde Green Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B76 1QT (part of the St John Paul II Multi Academy)
St John Paul II Multi Academy are a growing multi academy currently across six sites, our Directors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and hardworking Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the Learning Support Team based at Bishop Walsh Catholic School as soon as possible. They will support students with a wide range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will work with individual or small groups of EAL/Literacy students to promote their inclusion and provide support for teaching and personalised learning.
It is essential that the person appointed understands the barriers to learning and is able to help students to overcome them. The successful candidate will liaise with a wide range of staff and will monitor students closely to ensure they make good progress. This is a front line post and the postholder is required to be fluent in spoken English language in order to be considered for this role. This complies with the requirements of Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
