Children's Social Work Manager for Children with Disabilities Team - £41,846-45,911 plus market forces supplement.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant, committed and professional team of social workers and family support workers that has been built into a position of strength and stability by the current manager. The team is part of a multi-disciplinary 0-25 Children's Disabilities Service within Herefordshire's Children and Families Directorate. In addition to having the excellent interpersonal skills to ensure that we are able to work together successfully with other agencies , the successful applicant will need to bring a high level of support, challenge and organisation that will allow the team to develop and flourish further. The team covers the full range of input for children with a disability and their families from those with small short-break packages to LAC and child protection work.
Hence we are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, high quality social work practitioner with a breadth of experience that will equip them to thrive in this diverse and interesting role. If you are, or aspire to be, a social work manager looking for a new challenge in a supportive environment, this could be the role for you.
