We are looking to employ a full time cover supervisor at Uplands Manor Primary. Our school is a large (4 form entry) primary school situated in Smethwick in the West Midlands. Uplands Manor is a vibrant, multi-cultural and exciting school. Our children come from a wide range of backgrounds, but have a desire to learn. We offer a wide ranging curriculum, with a particular strength in sports and music.
The role includes the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers, small group support and the supervision of breaks.
The person we are looking for should have excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and should have a minimum of NVQ 3. We want our staff to love working with children and have a real desire to move them forward.
