Regeneration Assistant (Walsall Works) - Ref: EE27218
£18,145 - £20,338 per annum

We have a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join an award winning team providing support to people who are looking for employment and training opportunities. The team are responsible for management and delivery of the Council’s Walsall Works and BC IMPACT programmes.
We want to hear from an enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated individual who can play a part in changing the lives of local people and who want to create a positive impact to our local communities.
We are looking for a candidate with strong administrative skills with an interest in regeneration to join our diverse and dynamic team. You will also be responsible for providing an efficient client-focused employability support to a small number of clients as part of managing your own caseload.
You will also need to have:
- An understanding or experience in economic development and regeneration achieved through working for a local authority, welfare to work or charity
- A keen interest in developing new skills in project management and project delivery
- Experience or a willingness to learn about managing databases, reconciling grant expenditure, monitoring projects, producing reports and action planning.
For this exciting role you will need to undertake training in pursuit of a recognised qualification at Level 3 or above through an Apprenticeship in business administration, project management or information advice and guidance.
This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The postholder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
