INCLUSION ASSISTANT

The following permanent, 32 hours per week, term time only opportunity has arisen at Endon Hall Primary & Nursery School to commence in January 2019. The successful post holder will, initially, be based mostly in Years 4 and 5.

The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic Inclusion Assistant with high expectations and a commitment to ensuring every child achieves their full potential. The successful candidate should have passion, dedication and be innovative to make a difference for children.

The children at Endon Hall Primary & Nursery School are eager to learn, hardworking and deserve practitioners with excellent knowledge and commitment to good quality, inclusive classroom practice. We are a popular school and have an excellent staff team.

To qualify for the post, you will need to meet the requirements of the Person Specification and have the following skills/experience:

  • An excellent understanding of how children learn
  • The ability to raise standards in teaching and learning
  • The knowledge and understanding required to participate in the assessment of pupils
  • The ability to provide feedback to pupils and teachers in relation progress and achievement
  • Proven ability to work closely with parents/carers, colleagues and other professionals
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively will all school staff in order to create opportunities for our pupils, promote enrichment and develop life skills
