Prison Library Manager PO1
25 hours per week
Based at HMP Hewell and The Grange
Monday to Friday but some evenings and Saturdays required
Are you an experienced manager looking for a new challenge? We are looking to recruit a person tolead and manage the prison library service across 2 sites; HMP Hewell and The Grange. The successful candidate will set and manage the budget and produce the Service Level Agreement (SLA) in partnership with the West Midlands Head of Learning and Skills. They will also ensure that the services outlined in the SLA are delivered by a team of prison library staff based across 2 sites.
The prison environment can be challenging but delivering a quality library service that meets prison statutory requirements and more can be extremely rewarding. Partnership working will be integral to the role as well as an ability to find creative solutions to issues as they arise.
