Mobile Library Officer - Ref: EE27318
Salary: G5 £19,623 - £22,883 per annum

The successful post holder will support the Mobile Library Service Manager in the day to day operational delivery of the Mobile Library Service.

The ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and an interest in books/information is preferable as well as a flexible and proactive approach to work, both individually and as part of a team. LGV Class 2 Licence and up-to-date CPC are essential to this post.

You will ensure that the service engages with the local community and offer the highest possible standard of customer care and experience; whilst assisting in performance monitoring to improve an equality and effectiveness service with key performance indicators and targets.

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.  The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
