The Early Years Support & Assessment Team (EYSAT) is a high quality, highly valued local service working closely with Solihull’s maintained schools, academies and settings to support children in the Early Years with a range of Special Educational Needs. 

We are seeking to appoint two outstanding, experienced teachers  to work in our respected team. The EYSA Team works in homes, settings and local schools to support children with a wide range of SEND difficulties.

You will be allocated a caseload of children with SEND and it will be your role to support the social and educational development of these children and their inclusion within mainstream nurseries, schools and settings by providing consultancy, advice and guidance to staff in those education provisions as well as direct interventions with the children and their families.

To be successful you must have positive communication skills and experience of multi agency working and be able to engage and build effective relationships with colleagues in health and social care, as well as colleagues in educational provisions.

You will find that we are an exceptionally supportive service to work for and working with us is both enjoyable and rewarding.  No two days are ever the same and you will be travelling around the Borough of Solihull supporting settings and schools in your consultancy role and working with children on your caseload. You may find yourself working in a home, setting, school and health centre all in the same day.
