We have vacancies for 5 Special Needs Transport Escort positions at 15 hours per week Term Time Only to be utilised when required within the special needs transport service based at Whitley depot.

Although the service operates over 7 days the posts available are to cover a variety of school or college routes during school term times, Monday to Friday from approx 07.45 to 09.30 and 14.45 to 16.30 daily.

The positions could include transporting a variety of different people ranging from adults or children with learning difficulties and or physical /visual/hearing impairments and or older people.

To fulfil the positions available you will need to be:

- Flexible and have the ability to work in a team have empathy and understanding of the clients that we transport.
- Able to help people physically on and off minibuses and handle wheelchairs and clients with mobility issues.
- Able to attend a 1 week induction programme between the hours of 07.30 and 16.30, Monday to Friday.
