35 hours a week Fixed Term Contract Until 31 March 2020

Are you someone who wants to make a difference to the lives of children and families? Worcestershire Early Intervention Family Support Team is looking for people to join our dynamic team.
The role of the Early Intervention Family Support Worker is to help families who have emerging needs. You will work directly with them in an assertive but non-judgemental way, empowering families to overcome barriers they may experience enabling them to make positive change. 
The post holder will work collaboratively with other professionals to plan, deliver and review a package of support using a holistic approach, based on the Signs of Safety Framework.
The successful candidate should have considerable experience of direct work with children/young people and their families and the challenges they face.
The post holder is expected to be educated to NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an appropriate field, Social Work, Youth and Community Work or other relevant qualification or equivalent in appropriate area.
