Required from April 2019 we have an opportunity for a Team Co-ordinator in the Specialist Inclusion Support service Autism Team).

Solihull Specialist Inclusion Support Service (SISS) is a high quality, highly valued local service working closely with Solihull’s maintained schools, academies and settings to support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, experienced teacher and manager to lead and manage a highly respected team of advisory teachers and support staff. The Team are responsible for providing specialist support, advice and training to settings, schools and parents in relation to children and young people with autism

You will have significant experience of meeting the needs of children and young people with autism, as well as extensive knowledge and understanding of the impact for an individual. As a dynamic leader and manager you will be able to coordinate and lead a dedicated team.  You will also have relevant experience  and skills for developing successful relationships with schools, settings, as well as parents, children  and other professionals and have worked successfully as part of a team, including multidisciplinary teams.

You will be expected to travel around the borough of Solihull supporting the children on your caseload.
