DHH301 Health and Wellbeing Community Support Officer

37 hours per week

Grade G (SCP 26-30) £23,866 - £27,358 per annum

Fixed Term Contract until 31 January 2021 with the potential to extend further, subject to securing further funding

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Development Team, using an asset based community development approach to improve the health and wellbeing of the people in the borough through facilitating and enabling, collaborative working and sustainable partnerships and projects.

You should be pro-active and be able to build upon strengths of community groups supporting them to deliver a range of activities and overcome barriers.

The post will include; planning and promoting events, developing, implementing and evaluating projects, coordinating and building partnerships, supporting and recruiting volunteers, bid writing, community consultation and report writing.

An enhanced DBS (formally CRB) check will be required for this role.
