HR Advisor

£23,244 - £24,605 per annum

NJC SO2

29.6 hours per week

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our team to provide proactive and professional support, advice and guidance. We are responsible for driving forward the HR service to managers and employees to enable the delivery of high quality Council services in addition to providing HR services to our external customers.

This position reports directly to a HR Business Partner.Priority work areas include advice on policies and procedures to Headteachers and managers to ensure that they operate effective people management practices, maximise commercial opportunities to reduce our reliance on government funding and support the organisation’s strategy.

You must be authentic and passionate about HR, demonstrating the values and ethos of the organisation in everything that you do, motivating yourself and the team to focus on providing services that maximise outcomes. You must have the ability to manage a varied and complex workload in a fast paced environment.

The team has excellent relationships with the Senior Leadership Team, Service Delivery Managers and Headteachers. Your ability to communicate with and establish your credibility with senior leaders and all levels of management is crucial.
