We are looking for a high calibre, highly motivated, skilled professional to support our data team. This is a pivotal role within the school, you will provide high quality data to inform teaching and learning and be an expert user of the school’s Management Information System (SIMS). It is essential that the successful applicant is able to support staff in expanding their knowledge of the system and assisting them in using the system to its full capabilities.

You will be responsible for leading and managing information, with accountability for census and pupil data management. You will become the primary source of MIS support for the office staff supplying guidance and assistance using data driven systems. You will also be responsible for managing external systems that are linked to pupil data such as the online payment system (ParentPay) and other services such as VLE’s, analytical packages and safeguarding systems.

Within the role you will also be responsible for supporting staff in recording primary assessment data and providing leaders with accurate data that enables them to make strategic decisions regarding pupil pathways and academic performance.

The successful applicant will need to comply with GDPR regulations and other Data Protection laws. Organisation, patience and empathy along with excellent interpersonal skills are crucial, as this role involves dealing with a range of stakeholders.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
