Job Details
The Traffic and Road Safety Group is committed to delivering effective road safety engineering, training and education interventions to reduce road casualties on Warwickshire’s roads and work hard as a team to achieve this.
This is a great opportunity to join our team in an exciting role working with Warwickshire primary schools to deliver road safety education in an innovative and creative way.
The Role
Fixed term contract: 2 years
Road safety affects us all – from the time we are born, to the moment we hang up our car keys.
We are passionate about nurturing and educating children and young people to learn vital road safety skills that will prepare them for independence as they travel through life and we would love you to join our team to help us achieve this.
Your main role will be to engage with nursery and primary schools to deliver the Warwickshire Road Safety Club, and work with our small but dynamic team based in Warwick at an exciting time in road safety development.
Key Requirements
We are looking for an energetic and creative person with a track record working with, or in schools.
It would be great if you have:
• A real passion for the work we do to inspire and engage children to be road safe
• Experience of developing and delivering memorable educational activities to EYFS, KS1, KS2 and beyond
• Knowledge of road safety and sustainable travel issues
