Business Support Officer
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly organised person to be responsible for providing and maintaining a high quality, confidential support service to the Assistant Director of Education and Skills. You will need to provide a range of business support activities to enable the service to meet its statutory obligations and provide timely and effective services to children, young people and their families.
In supporting the Assistant Director with their complex and busy diary you will also need demonstrable experience of managing and maintaining high standards of communication, integrity and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. It is therefore essential that you can demonstrate that you have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to negotiate with people at all levels.
The successful candidate will have a high level of computer literacy and the ability to use a wide range of office and in house systems. You will be required to work flexibly with a can do attitude, be a highly motivated person with exceptional organisational skills and have the ability to work using your own initiative and with minimum supervision.
