Salary £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience

Hoople is a provider of corporate business support services to a diverse range of health and care service providers, local authorities, schools and academies and the public sector. We are also one of Herefordshire’s largest providers of specialist training courses for the health and care service sector. Our services include HR, payroll, IT, finance, training, recruitment and apprenticeships.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop new and existing markets within our service areas. The key responsibilities for the role include:

Develop new products, markets and customers to increase turnover and profit for Hoople
Increase and improve brand awareness to support increase in market share
Manage and update digital properties, websites and online platforms, to ensure that they are optimized, cohesive and deliver ROI
Devise and implement a creative Marketing Strategy in order to: establish a strong and clear brand position, deliver customer segmentation and product/support services prioritisation and meet corporate business objectives
Produce all marketing materials, ensuring they are of a high quality and conform to Brand and Tone of Voice Guidelines
Act as brand champion and manage how the organisation presents itself, to enhance and protect reputation
Define the approach to PR and media liaison, locally and regionally
Lead and develop the digital communications strategy for Hoople
Contribute to the design, development and implementation of Hoople customer communications strategy and lead communications processes
Plan and co-ordinate activities across marketing mix in a robust and creative manner that maximises and exploits all available communication channels
Implement and oversee cross company marketing activities including campaigns, publicity and information material, website material and event management.
Co-ordinate the generation of market intelligence and company service information to assist in marketing and business development activities

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience and results in the following areas:

Management of business development in an organisation of similar size and complexity
Product development for new and existing markets
Profitable sales growth
Delivery of high quality branding across all media and marketing channels
