SITE MANAGER

Required: 28st January 2019, or as soon as possible

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full time all year round.

Split shift in term-time: Mon 6.30am-9.30am and 3-7.30pm; Tues-Thurs 6.30 – 10.30am and 3 - 6.30pm; Fri 6.30 – 10.00am and 3 - 6.30pm. (Shift start and finish times can vary slightly to suit candidate.)

Hours: 37 hours pw. plus lettings

Salary (Band C): £17,972 - £21,693

About The Role: The Leadership Team is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and pro-active individual, who will provide efficient and effective Site Management of our school, to ensure a safe, secure and clean environment for the whole school community.

The successful candidate will:

• be committed to safeguarding and equal opportunities

• be committed to providing a clean and safe place for our adults and children to work in

• be required to undertake some lettings outside of the above stated hours (remuneration for this will be in the salary band)

• have the skills to work independently, use initiative and take responsibility

• be able to work flexibly and supportively as part of a team

• be able to understand and follow instructions and regulations

• be able to plan tasks effectively

• have the skills to manage the cleaning staff and liaise with the cleaning company

• be able to undertake basic maintenance tasks

• be calm and patient when under pressure

• be polite, courteous and cooperative with staff, parents, contractors, pupils and visitors

• be willing to work outside contracted hours whenever required

• have basic numeracy and literacy skills

• understand basic administrative tasks

• be willing to undertake training
