About Us

Coten End Primary is a large, very popular, 3-form entry school situated in Warwick. There are 610 pupils on roll and by September 2019 we will have 3 forms in every year group throughout the school.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available to lead Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in our school. You will have either experience working as a SENDCO or a desire to develop the role. You must hold Qualified Teacher Status and have excellent knowledge of SEND.

• be an excellent classroom practitioner who ensures that all children, whatever their ability, make great progress; 
• have a proven track record of ensuring SEND pupils make progress; 
• be a dedicated professional with the ability to inspire children and colleagues; 
• set the highest standards for themselves, the children and others; 
• have an excellent understanding of SEND requirements and procedures; 
• work successfully in partnership with parents, our community and outside agencies; 
• have experience of supporting pupils with SEND; 
• fulfil the requirements of an enhanced DBS disclosure.
