Fostering Marketing Officer

Full Time 12 Month Fixed-term
This Family Finding and Targeted Services Team focus upon the recruitment of Foster Carers to meet a range of needs for children and young people in need of family placements. In addition to this, they are responsible for the continued professional development of foster carers and ensuring that appropriate training is available to provide them with the skills and knowledge to appropriately care for the children placed with them.

The Council is committed to working with its partners (particularly the voluntary & community sector, local providers of care and support, the NHS and of course service users and family carers) to develop services for residents that help people live as independently as possible with minimal intervention
This is a full time 12 month fixed-term position within the within the Family Finding and targeted Services Team. This is an exciting new role delivering a high quality customer service that targets, maximises and drives the recruitment of prospective foster carers from first contact through to initial social work contact.
You will play a key role in the marketing of Telford Fostering to increase the number of foster carers enquiring with the service.
