Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 2

Term time only; 26.25 hours per week, fixed term to the end of summer term 2019

Level 2 Pt 11 - £8.81 per hour 

We require a suitably qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a class in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will: 

• Have a good understanding and knowledge of the primary curriculum. 

• Have a good level of education (GCSE grade C or above or equivalent, in English and Mathematics) 

• Have confidence and enthusiasm to provide support. 

• Have the skills, strategies and confidence to adapt learning tasks to meet individual needs. 

• Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with. 

• Have experience of supporting in a KS2 class. 

• Have the ability to build positive relationships with children to enhance their emotional wellbeing and learning outcomes.
