We have a vacancy for a full time Senior Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy Team within Access and Prevention . Your role will be to assess people, of all ages in the community, who have a disability or illness that affects everyday living. You will make recommendations for equipment and  minor and major adaptations to promote independence and wellbeing to enable people to live within the community. This role will also have the opportunity for a lead with Paediatric cases.

Hours:  37 per week

We are seeking a full time Senior Occupational Therapists who will assess people in the community. The role covers people of all ages with a  special focus an Paediatric cases.  The role will include working with the Home Improvement team with respect To DFG. We are seeking a therapist who is proactive in their approach, open to change and enjoys the challenge of implementing new ways of working . We have recently redesigning our Occupational Therapy service working towards a locality based model, you will support the team with this development and demonstrate the value of OT in your practice. You will also participate in the Duty process.

You will have either a Diploma or BSc Honours degree in Occupational Therapy and be Registered with HCPC,  Evidence of Senior OT Experience,  is essential. Also experience with Paediatric  cases and assessment for  complex equipment and adaptations and moving and Handling experience in all fields.

Experience with Complex cases and Supervision experience is essential.
