We have a vacancy for A full time Senior Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy Team within Access and Prevention. You will be the lead Therapist within the Dudley Locality Team.

Your role will be to assess people, who have a disability or illness that affects everyday living. You will make recommendations for equipment including specialist Moving and Handling equipment and  minor and major adaptations to promote independence and wellbeing to enable people to live within the community.

Hours:  37 per week

We are seeking a full timeSenior Occupational Therapists who will assess people of all ages in the community. This will include minor and major adaptations and working with Home improvements team with respect to DFG legislation. We are seeking a therapist who is proactive in their approach, open to change and enjoys the challenge of influencing and implementing new ways of working . We have recently redesigning our Occupational Therapy service working towards a locality based model, you will support the team with this development and demonstrate the value of OT in your practice.  You will be the lead OT in the Dudley locality Team.

You will have either a Diploma or BSc Honours degree in Occupational Therapy,  
Be Registered with HCPC,  Senior OT Experience, experience with Paediatric assessment for equipment and adaptations and moving and Handling experience

Senior OT experience of assessment and identifying needs for people of all ages including Paediatrics, experience with Complex cases essential and Supervision experience essential.
