We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant, to join us from February 2019. We need someone who is energetic and enthusiastic to join our reflective and resourceful, experienced team, working with staff and students across the school.

You will demonstrate a caring and professional approach, be highly motivated and be an excellent team player who expects high standards from both colleagues and students.

You will provide direct support to students to help raise their aspirations, develop their confidence and improve attainment and outcomes in a variety of subjects at KS3/KS4.

The successful candidate must be committed to making a difference to the lives of children and excited about teaching and learning and being in the classroom.

For a suitably qualified candidate this post could be a route to GTP qualification as a teacher.
As such, if you are a graduate looking for experience within education; supporting students as a Teaching Assistant would be an invaluable opportunity to gain experience prior to applying to train to become a teacher.

The salary is Grade 3, £17,173 - £18,870 per annum FTE (£14,836 - £16,302 per annum actual, working term time only plus training days).
