Teaching Assistant

Level 2

Grade 4, SCP 16 (£9.01 per hour)

15 hours per week, Working Monday to Friday 0900-1200

Temporary until Friday 19 July 2019

Princefield First School in Penkridge are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our successful team to work 15 hours a week term time only until 19 July 2019.

We are looking for a qualified NVQ Level 2 or above candidate with previous experience working with children. If you are looking to further your career, we would love to hear from you. 

Our ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must have a thorough understanding of the Early Years Framework and are working or have worked in an Early Years Setting previously.

The successful candidate must hold a relevant Early Years Childcare qualification, minimum Level 2 and have a passion for making a change in young peoples lives.

We are looking for:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children
  • already be an excellent early years practioner with an ability to ensure all children make good progress from their baseline
  • be able to contribute to planning and the organisation of the indoor and outside learning areas

•    have lots of energy and enthusiasm

•    be able to work as part of a team
