Warwick District Council’s Housing Services manages over 6,000 residential dwellings including social rented and leasehold dwellings as well as garage units.  The Income Recovery & Financial Inclusion Team managed the rent accounts for all current and former social rented and garage tenancies

This role is to manage the former tenant and garage tenancy rent accounts for the organisation as well as providing a support service to the Income Recovery & Financial Inclusion Team officers and manager.  You will have the confidence to call and meet with current and former tenants, to discuss arrears and advise, help and support them to pay off their debts.  With an innovative approach you will work to improve debt recovery, while maintaining essential procedures, as well as support in compiling performance indicators.

The role is part of the Sustaining Tenancies Team working with our tenants in order ensure their tenancy is successful

Candidates should have experience in the Social Housing Sector, an understanding of the Welfare Benefit System including Housing Benefit, a good standard of education and evidence a highly customer focused approach.
